Buttons the Bear

Remember the story of the three little bears? This one is probably not on Goldielocks’ beer list, but this little bear prefers his oatmeal—stout! This font has personality for sure.

Ok, ok, seriously. I’ve been wanting to use this font in a project for years. Not sure you’ll ever see it used in a craft beer logo but I’ve seen crazier ones. (UPDATE: This logo actually became a real-life beer! Bear Chase Brewing in Bluemont, VA brewed this beer in honor of this Beer-Type Logo. I designed their brewery’s logo, and after working with them to design their website and other marketing materials, a decision by the owners was made to create an Oatmeal Stout and call it Buttons the Bear!)

You can download Buttons the Bear from 1001fonts.com.

UPDATE: This font—and Beer-Type Logo—are indeed being used… by Bear Chase Brewing Company!!! Can’t wait to try this one. You should really check out their website and visit their destination farm brewery in Loudoun County, VA!

And the rest is history, including an actual real-life beer created after one of my Beer-Type logos called Buttons the Bear Oatmeal Stout. […]
